heya Watchmen: The End Is Nigh vs Batman: Arkham City?

i just want to know if you fight like Batman: Arkham City? and is it good at all? and more so tell me :)

This game is not even close to a Mario game in terms of gameplay (And Mario games are AWFUL if you are not a fanboy of Nintendo), but it has some good graphics. But hey, you've got a demo, so give it a try.

It has great graphics , a simple story , up to 10 combos with each character and its pretty close to Batman fighting style but i think , you should wait till it is on discount because its too small and it doesnt worth

dude i did play the demo now but it's not as good as Batman: Arkham City but still i most say it's really good game i did think it was not good but yeah i was worng :)

I liked it better then Batman, just the raw busting heads action of it. You can pick up various weapons that you get of of fallen badguys. Yes, it can be repeative and it could certainly have more levels but it is still fun. If anyone out there has played any other games similar to this style of action plus gameplay (besides batman), I sure would appreciate it if you named them, thanks.

By now, you must have tried the game: either got it through Steam, or found a used hard copy for PS3 on Amazon off of something of the like, but I will say, as a fan of both DC series, and having played both games, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and City (although can't be compared) are superior (if I had to choose which game I had to play right now.) All of these games are pure eye candy, but the Batman games are not as repetitive in gameplay as it has been noted for The Watchmens.

On the other hand, despite what it doesn't offer, I love getting to play as Rorschach. Defintely for those who appreciate straight foward arcade-style beat-em ups, over more adventure/action-style gameplay.

What really sucks is that on Steam, the Watchmen games has no achievements.

This is one of the most overlooked games-series. It is basically one full game split into two parts so buy accordingly. Everyone likes the Batman games and the fight style in Watchmen games are like the beta to Arkham Asylum.

People will say they are not great comics or whatever - yea yea - go do some research on Watchmen then have a chat with Alan Moore and Stan Lee so you might regain perspective. The series is like 60's era Kick A$$ movie. If it is good gameplay and the storyline is logically solid then it is a good buy. Excellent games - highly recommend.

The Batman games are leagues beyond this game. Much better production value and bigger games with more going on.
