Limited edition

I read that there existed a limited edition of the games (with new weapons (but not overpowerful)). Is there a way to get your game in the limited edition? (Mod or buying)

The Limited Edition is a DVD version. Only the single player is "LE" in that you get a few somewhat powerful weapons early on. You cannot get this version through Steam. You do not miss anything worthwhile or spectacular.

I know that doesn't worth it, but OCD. I asked too if there wasn't a mod for this or if you can unlock by changing a variable (like Alice Madness)

No. You need to install from an LE disc. I don't think it actually matters whether the Steam copy you have is LE or not. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any copies of the disc and I lost mine years ago.

I have the CE and I can say that it is NOT compatible with steam.

So you'd need to buy a seperate CE and install the singleplayer part to be able to get any of the weapons. It does -not- work in the steam version.

I guess it's just a big '♥♥♥♥ you' to the people that actually went out to spend the money for it.

The Collector's Edition (=Limited Edition) is a double-DVD. It is a Ubisoft game, not a Valve game. You install the singleplayer version standalone, as a Ubisoft game; and if you're into multiplayer you install the multiplayer by registering on Steam (dvd contains a Steam installer). What is so '♥♥♥♥ you' about that?! There are always people who need to moan about nothing.

I played a bit in multiplayer and even if you dont have CE, its possible to have collectors Edition armour. You only need to know how to edit game code.

If I remember correctly the way I used to get the limited edition weapons was to use console commands xD it's the only way I know how to get them in the standard game. I wish there was a limited edition on steam because I like finding them in-game.

Although I think I remember at one point I somehow got them to appear in-game but i forgot how, could have been my brother's save or something.

If you want the weapons badly use these:

give weapon_arx_sword_collector
give weapon_mm_bow_collector
give weapon_mm_daggers_collector
give weapon_mm_staff_collector

Isn't Unlimited Edition mod adds lost collectors weapons and other stuff? I don't know what collectors edition does to multiplayer, but from what I heard it just gives (human) knight a new skin? That's about it I think.
