I really want to feel like I can reccomend this game. The adaptive story is really kool, I love the visual style, and I respect what the developer was trying to do here. It's disturbing, it's detailed, and it certainly deserves the attention it's gotten, if not more. I've only got 2 complaints.
For one thing, the controls are awkward. This isn't such a big deal, it just feels a little clunky at times.
The second complaint, on the other hand, is a deal breaker for me. This game is just not very scary. It's really not. Even playing it at night, with headphones on and the lights off failed to scare me. Don't get me wrong, it's got it's moments, but they are few and far-between. I never thought that playing a game about a man losing his grip on reality in the zombie apocalypse would bore me.
Maybe it gets better later on, but after giving it 2.5 hours to get good, I think it's reasonable to lose faith.
It could still be your thing though, it's got a lot of promise. Just didn't quite do it for me.
