Low fps
I got a notebook:

OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
AMD Phenom II X4 N950 - 2.1 GHz
AMD Radeon HD 6650M - 1 GB
RAM - 4 GB DDR3

Even on the lowest settings and resolution, my fps doesn't go above 45. My specs are far above the recomended and still i have problems like in a processor reliant game that needs 3 GHz minimum. I unparked all my cores and they are working at 100%. I experimented with various settings in the ati catalyst control center. I also got the latest drivers installed. I tried setting the affinity to 1, 2 or 3 cores, but I got no results. What the heck?

also look at the gfx what exactly do you think you are missing in these lost frames lol besides the human eye and its brain interface, can only process 10 to 12 separate images per second, perceiving them individually. so regardless of what most L33T player say anything over 30 fps is technically more than enough for a percieved smooth graphical experiance. Unless of course you have magic eyes then congrats i'm very chuffed for you.

lol at the comments..well, if your eye is handicapped, your loss, but there is a HUGE difference between 30 and 60 fps. Are you a console player? The game is stuttering and hanging. I accept such behavior in crowded places (towns etc.), but in a lush dungeon? And yes, it ran better before, guess an update screwed it for me. Thanks for the feedback btw. :D

Stop talking please, you have ZERO clue what you are talking about. The eye does not see in terms of FPS at all in the first place. Second, as Proxy said you must be a console devote, because they are the only ones who believe that garbage about games being acceptable at 30FPS. It's mind blowing how quickly people will defend games that run badly.

You CAN tell the difference between 30 and 60 FPS if you play games at 60 FPS regularly.

OT: OP you are on a notebook, be happy that the game runs at all. That thing is ancient in terms of where systems are now. Most PC's have double your processing speed, and there aren't many integrated graphics cards that are worth a damn, which 99% of laptops have.

You said that you noticed a dip in performance, which is probably because they changed over the load to the processor (just a guess), this happens a lot. I used to play WoW one a netbook (even worse then a regular laptop) but eventually a set of dungeons came out that I couldn't even run, so I had to upgrade. You probably will too fairly soon, that thing won't run anything actually worth playing.
