Daredevil & Strategic genious?

Hi guys, I've beaten the Insane Achievement but for the life of me using the same build I can just almost but not fully beat the other two achievs.

Any tips?

I'm trying it on Greenland and beat Insane there pretty easily.

I still have some other achievs to do but those are more based on grinding (and on getting a good strategy on drylands after a few hundred more attempts lol).
These two aren't based on grind thou but on a perfect setup which I seemed to have for Insane.

Side note: There's this insane achievement on Dishonored called Daredevil too but I finally beat that after hours and hours of attempts and perfecting the whole movement and all.

I think that those two achievements (Daredevil at least) impossible to get on Grasslands due to friggin helicopters. Look this video: I placed towers EXACTLY like this guy (even in right time), but was been defeated on 139 round. Helicopters just flying through mortars like knife through butter! Tesla towers may do something, but I don't know EXACTLY when and EXACTLY where better to place them...

Ok, fine. But how do people beat these 2 achievs at all on PC?

Oh, wow, just right now noticed that too... Really looks like "his own frame graphics" ...
And 'bout Daredevil and Strategic Genius: I need to look Mudslide Extended Hard Mode; more correctly: would be this strategy from Classic Mode working on Extended and, if yes, try to get those achievements on that map (cause all 20 lives on 100 round give you MUCH more room for errors and you just need to spam and upgrade Plasma towers everywhere after placing other towers like in video above).

Hey thx for the tip. I just completed mudslide recently with a similar build. But I only had 1 life left at the end xD

I can't say if it was legitly beaten or not, but the two achievements you ask about have been unlocked for some % of overall users: http://steamcommunity.com/stats/Fieldrunners/achievements/

The game was indeed tested, but judging from some older postings on the old forum, a few achievements might have some issues. I don't remember if these were among them.

Finally got my hands on Mudslide Extended Hard and... got not-so-good results: 17 lives at the end (lost on 1 heli on wave with 8 jungle troops and that heli (forgot number of that wave) and on 2 planes on one of the last waves). Definitely would try to get to 150 wave on Endless Hard...

Tryed Mudslide Endless Hard... failed on 130 wave. Need some more researching about this stuff...

Yeah I'd guess theres only like 1-2 maps and builds that could work.

Funny stuff... Tried to Google "Strategic Genius" and got this site[bbs.weiphone.com] (fully safe, just on Chinese language) as first result... Would been cooler if that guy also showed his weapon placement on early waves...

I've googled so many things, searched all of YouTube and whatnot. Too bad this game never got hyped like an angry birds or something or there would be 1000000 guides on each achievement.
