The gib scene seam bug is still lurking around.. it’s a total ♥♥♥♥♥ to reproduce; whenever we try, it just won’t happen :( We haven’t given up on it though, and won’t since it’s such a killjoy

Thanks for the reply, data.

Is there anyway the players can help?

Yea, Data, is there at least any clue how exactly we could try to replicate it? We could really attempt to see how it happens and then try to record it, describe how it happened, post the console or something like that...

Huh.. It doesn't happen to me often, but one match, I think it might have happened to me.

It was like a laser of denial that splattered anyone who got close to it. Thankfully it was thin, and I didn't really need to put troops there, but still, it did make me paraniod of that one spot.

what i really need is to have the debugger program ready (and the source code) when the bug happens, so what you can do to help is limited (since you don't have them).. however, if you can report any pattern you detect in what's going on when the bug happnes, it helps me create an automated script that will cause the gibbing to trigger, when i have the tools ready to analyze what's actually going wrong in the code. i'm pretty sure it has to do with locomotion, ie when a leg is pushing across a wrapped terrain seam, it occasionally glitches out and creates a huge force which instantly gibs the actor the leg is attached to. this is my best theory right now!
