Zombie cave mission low framerate.
Whenever I play the zombie cave mission, I take my time in what I do. But after 2 minutes or so, the level is swarmed in zombies and the framerate and game speed is down to less than a quater of its original speed. Is there anything I can do about this (disregarding the obvious "bai @ n3w $7000 c0mput3r u casul lel)?

One of solutions would be destoying cloning vats before ♥♥♥♥ starts to happen.

I'm assuming that what is happening to me isn't normal though. I mean, why would the developer include a mission that starts to lag your computer after 2 minutes of calm planning? So I believe this is a problem on my end and wish for advice, if it exists. And forcing me to play a very certain way is one answer, but not the one I am looking for. Thanks though.

Hey man, I already looked it up and found some answers before coming to the forum. I just want more from the community. Plus, those answers all concentrate on the game in general, I only really have this problem on the zombie cave mission.

You didn't try following any of the suggestions in this thread:

Yeah, if you leave it without killing the zombies it gets really laggy, and obviously the dev doesn't care about that, the bugs the game and the community.

T0R0ID, I told you, I already looked up the issue and found some answers. Do you honestly think I'm that stupid that I didn't look on the datarealms forums to begin with? As I said in my previous comment, I came here looking for more answers from the steam community. As for your assumptions, they are highly uncalled for. I have tried doing what was said in those forums, like the resolutions options and alternate window options and such, but that doesn't help. Not only does it put the game in a crappy small window that limits my field of view, but the issue takes effect anyway, it just takes a little longer to take effect. The only thing I didn't try was the DeltaTime options, and that's because that has numerous bad effects on the gameplay.

I came here to see if anyone on steam could offer help, so far, I've had one person tell me that the mission is naturally like that after some time, which IS help to me, one person tell me to play the game a certain way to prevent that, which is just the opposite of fun for me, but still an appreciated answer, and you, who has acted sarcastic by using LMGTFY and then accusing me of not trying any other options, despite the fact I told you I already looked up answers and that's pretty much the first thing that comes up. If you can't withhold unhelpful sarcasm and rash assumptions, then I don't really see you being any help.

I don't mean to sound all that insulting, but that's all what you have been doing to me from my point of view. "This person is asking for help? Lol, let me use LMGTFY, he's probably so ♥♥♥♥ing stupid he didn't even try googling the issue he's having. Probably doesn't know how. Oh, what? He said he already tried? LOL! He's a ♥♥♥♥ing liar, I bet he didn't try a single one of these fixes. I'll send them again, because I still think he's too ♥♥♥♥ing stupid to find and open the first link on a google search."

At the same time, this is just what I see from my point of view, if you think you've been a perfectly fine person, please explain how.

Steam is full of ♥♥♥♥♥ and that is usually a super-effective response in most cases, so I've learned to use it by default.

But you did not explicitly state that you had tried the suggestions posted in that "improving frame rate" thread, which is why I asked you if you had. It's a helpful thread.

What assumptions and accusations? In post #5 I asked you a question that could only be answered with a yes or a no. See the question mark? (I bet you didn't see the question mark, I did format it in a funny way)

That thread I linked has the best fixes I know of. The game is kinda junky from a modern technical perspective, so it might not run well even (especially) with new hardware.

Alright, fair enough. Yeah, I didn't see the question mark, just looked like part of the link to me. Is it even grammatically correct to put a question mark at the end of a link with a space between them? I don't even know myself. I apologize for that. I'll take you off my list of evil people I must destroy for now. But you watch yourself BOY! But I've seen you around these forums quite a bit, would you by chance have any deeper connection to the people at data realms?

No problem. Somehow I tend to rub people the wrong way on the internets. *shrug*

Not really. I've just been paying really close attention to this game's development for a long long long time.

Also, I noticed you play a lot of Dark Souls. Kudos to you. That is without a doubt one of the best games ever. It goes against all the crappy trends that have been festering in AAA game development for the last decade or so. Let's hope the sequel doesn't ♥♥♥♥ that up.

I have the worst fears that it will be messed up. I suppose we will just need to wait and see.
