Mod development: Where do I begin?
As the title probably gives away, I want to try my hand at creating mods.
I'm not totally illiterate in terms of technology or general development -- but I've no idea what I should learn first or where I could find a nice, structured guide or reference point.

If it helps, I have a small amount of experience in Lua(so maybe it'd be best to figure out how to script for the game?) and I went so far as to toy with a few values in a device's .ini, but never understood what much of it meant.

I would rather recommend going to Data Realms fan forums than wiki, the wiki is kinda outdated and doesn;t provide all the sueful information, while fan forums have plenty of excelent tutorials and friendly experienced modders wh owill explain you how can you create whatever you desire.

Yeah, I think I remember the wiki. Think some of the info on there dates back to the golden days of yore(B25).

But anyway, I suppose there's no better way to learn than by experimentation, so off I go!
