How to get a good bunker
To have a good bunker use a highland map for it has a alot of underground areas for most uses have caves as they can help 1. set you brain vault deep into the map 2. make a complex maze to confuse the AI/player set up coridoor ends set up actors and arm them 3. if you need to escape make a dock for when you need to escape 3. if the AI/player is coming from both directions make a window on both sides arm the actors and make a baricade/window

4. if your base is being attacked and lost All actors before that arm the brain with a heavy weapons and make a small baricade/window to help 5. if u lose your army of men and without gold collect guns and send them back up soon you shall have a fortune army. end of tutorial

Okay, I recommend setting up both a machinegun and a sniper defender on both sides of bunker on the surface, and ensuring some area from where reinforcements could easily come in and replace the fallen units. Then, you some additional security before the brain room... and also some teleproter between drop zone and pre-brain room would go nice in case you got reinforcements and enemies are about to get to your brain.

Make a tower that reaches all the way to the sky with an opening facing upward (so your brain can still be placed inside your sctructure). Set up limited (1-2 each side), highup vantage points for your gaurds to watch either side but also nearly impossible for a heavy enemy AI to jettison up to. Make a small room (accesbile only from the roof) connected to the roof with several vertical shafts. Once all that Is done make sure you surround your base with sufficient protective blocks. Lastly (and here is where your base becomes near-invincible) go into 'base backgrounds' and select the largest one. Place two large shafts going all the way down to the bottom of the map on either side of your base and it doesnt matter how many waves of enemies come your way; they wil all fall to their deaths :D enjoy!

Just make sure not to place too many actors/items or the next waves will never spawn, the game will slow down to almost-crash-like speeds, and your time spent base-designing will be for nothing. This happened to me yesterday when I spent almost an hour creating the perfect base, just to have the game move slow-mo and not spawn enemy AI for me to fight. I wish there was a way to save the base design between waves...

The easiest (and cheapest) way to beat the AI is to set people up next to corners with digger weapons and have them shred anyone who comes around the corner, or have places set up with multiple actors on both sides to shred enemies. Heavy weapons really come into their element in defenses, and so do snipers down long corridors.

Levels with dropoffs are also very good for bunkers. With only one side to defend, you don't have to worry about attacks from behind. You can focus all of your firepower to that one side! Snipers can pick off 1/3 of the initial enemies, while turrets and assault weapons deal with the rest!

The warhammer mod makes for some fun gameplay, as does the Metal slug mod!!!
It does make the game easier though, because the weapons and characters are quite good!

The easiest and most game breaking way to defeat AI opponents is to grap a MK2 rocket, load it with 30-50 crabs, and drop it near the enemies. Scuttle it before it hits land for a larger AOE. The physics freak out and the crab mandibles go through terrain.
