HOW CAN WE IMPROVE THIS GAME? (Specifically: CAMPAIGN & AI)
Hello all

first time poster to steam discussions, but i just bought this (trigger happy christmas steam sale buying...) and THEN discovered that it's one of the lowest rated most reviled pc games-- particularly in comparison to the really fantastic Blood Bowl series of games (i'm an avid BB:CE player).

But instead of throwing my hands up in despair and consigning this to the "Games I Bought By Mistake" pile, I thought I'd open a discussion about this.

My basic question is: How do we get the developers to add AI and Campaigns? and FAILING THAT can we as a community mod the game to add AI, or is that in the realms of fantasy (excuse the pun)? I have no experience whatsoever of game development, but I know it can be done, obviously, and a lot of gamers not working for companies (and those that are) are very good at that sort of thing... But i imagine the workload of developing AI is probably one of the hardest things to do in a game (hence why the lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s completely overlooked it).

It should be said, of course, that GW have utterly shafted their loyal fans. again. but let's forget about how ♥♥♥♥ing awful capitalists are and try and work out a way of making this game decent. (incidentally, gameplay issues, like getting stuck in corners or the game being too randomly determined for some gamers' taste, are much a muchness to me)

so yes: hello & and how do we rescue this game?

It has been announced in another thread, that solo-play is currently in development.

Deathrollers should not be allowed in my opinion

I'd dispute the fact that GW was the one that did the shafting, since they really had nothing to do with the development process of the game beyond licensing content. Cyanide is the real villain here. It would seem they have a history of making mediocre games with very little original content as far as plot or gameplay is concerned, and I might be mistaken but I believe they might have actually recycled some resources from Loki (an earlier Cyanide game) to use in Dungeonbowl.

The bottom line being that not as much effort was put into this game as could have been.
