Trading Cards
When I saw that Cherry Tree High had Steam Trading Cards, I immediately wanted a set to be made for Analogue and Hate Plus, which I have yet to really start getting into.

Though, I was wondering what would be on those cards, other than *Hyun-ae and *Mute. Maybe the ending screens or concept art could be on them.

What do you folks think about this?

I personally love these darned trading cards . The rewards themselves (emoticons, backgrounds, and worst of all, coupons) kinda suck, but hey, it's fun collecting them.

From what I read, dev is an elitist feminist who wants people to buy her game not for the cards. She did add achievements, which is most likely enough for people to buy and play it.

Hahahaha, yes, that's the reason. If they can't take your video games, they'll take your cards instead

And here I thought making good games was what makes people buy them and play them.

In seriousnes, there seems to be an opinion that cards are underhanded somehow, which is silly. They're fun for those who are into them, and don't cost/hurt those who aren't. Personaly, I'd love some Hyun-ae emoticons.

I just wanted to refute the statement about a horrific disaster like a nuclear meltdown.

http://loveconquersallgam.es/post/54626927784/idling-causes-nuclear-reactor-failures

Trading cards are already among Steam users for over 1 year and no link has been made between a nuclear power plant failure and Steam Trading Cards. There are hard working technicians and engineers working day and night ensuring the safety of nuclear energy.

To even hint that trading cards could cause a nuclear disaster maybe shows not everyone is aware of the precautions these technicians and engineers take to ensure our safety day and night.

No-one is being pressured into buying trading cards, users although not all go on a quest asking developers to add trading cards. They are liked and requested by a part of the community. They are here to stay for a very long time. Trading cards do not necessarly encourage people to play a game, we have I. Master for that. The negative view towards trading cards doesn't seem warranted here. A lot of people enjoy badges, showing off backgrounds or using special emoticons in chat and messages. I would dare to say trading cards enriched the Steam experience.

If only the developer would adjust his/her negative views towards the much appriciated community feature as trading cards.

Wow, it didn't take long for this thread to devolve into whining about feminism.
