Just purchased the game, it crashes on me.

I am using an early 2013 15" Retina MacBook Pro with 250GB Hard drive space and 8GB of memory. I am running Mac OS X 10.9 and I just bought the game today. I tried verifying the files and they don't verify. I deleted the files and attempted to download the game again to no avail.

I`m having the exact same problem, and I have the same Macbook model. Seems to be a problem with display resolution, probably related to Retina displays.

My computer is running the latest software and I get the same problems. :(

The software developer has told me that I need to select the option "run in lower resolution" on the application menu... and it still crashes.

Okay, so I went to Préférences Système => Moniteurs and then, under Résolution and À l'échelle, I selected Police plus grande. Didn't work.

It DOES work, however, if you select the option between Police plus grande (English speakers, this is the size furthest to the left) and Optimal (Retina), the size in the middle. It does not work at any other size.

That doesn't solve it for me, though. It still crashes at launch. I'm now playing with Parallels Desktop and it works fine there.

It crashed on me too. Its from the steam application's bug that helps cause it to crash. Steam also deleted my save data as for some others I've talked to as well forcing you to start from scratch everytime it does it. I gotten pretty far into it too and no steam cloud don''t help the matter any as well. It used to run just fine though.

Edit: Okay, I just fixed it and now the game works. It's a bug with save files, I don't know what exactly is broken, but if you start a new game, it works.

Sounds good but who wants to keep starting over just to keep playing it whenever it decides to do it randomly? It hardly seems worth it.

I had this problem as well. What you need to do is go into your games library, right click Analogue: A Hate Story, click on properties, Local Files, and Verify integrity of game cache.

That wont do much good. Yes it will fix the problem but it will just do it again wiping it out making you repeat the process. They need to get the game fixed or get steam fixed so it don't screw it up.
