The kind about reading other peoples' emails.

Correction: The kind about reading dead peoples' emails to figure out what happened to them

Not a lot of visual and a lot of novel. I find "Interactive Fiction" fits this much better. The narration and the writing is absolutely phenomenal, but if you can't handle lots of reading (and I mean decent-sized parahraphs, not the two-sentence speech bubbles you see in your usual visual novel), you will hate this game. Be wary of eye strain though, my first playthrough was in a three-hour sitting, and I genuinely could barely read the text when I was getting near the end. I was way overdue for a break.

Looks really bad. There's really no backrounds? Games like this should be free.

You're entitled to your own opinion, but imho 2$ for analogue is a heck of a bargain. As I've said, this isn't a game for everyone, it focuses much more on narration and less on anything else than most other novels.

I played this hoping for porn or something, but I ended up staying for the story and forgetting about my ♥♥♥♥.

You'll already guess the 'twist' before its even revealed, but it'll still make you want to stick around to see how it all wraps up.
I ended up getting one of the good endings, and it still made my chest hurt a bit.
Great visual novel. Worth a playthrough

It's the sad/tragic kind...

Edit: By that I mean it's good.

This game is really unique and the plot more than holds it together. Its a very unique VN and it really is worth the price of admission. This is a visual novel, the word NOVEL is there for a reason.

Eh... Nope, if you want generic mainstream games, look elsewhere. A game does not need graphics to be good. The ones found in this, even without bg's are still worth looking at.
Different, innovative, a breath of fresh air in the genre.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy has no pictures! It should be free!

Copy, so it's a form of intellectual necrophilia. Thanks.

It would make 0 sense for this game to have "backgrounds" story-wise.
If it had any BGs other than what it has, I It'd be really confusing, believe me.

ALTHOUGH the terminal (makes sense in context) in this game makes me cringe. Especially because it kinda implies of being a posix shell.

Is it typical to sexualize anything that much... even reading? Oh right, what am I thinking?
