Too much gore
Call me weak or whatever but having to look at a woman who had her eyes plucked out made me want to puke.

Why couldn't I be alerted of this b4 it happened.

This is listed as an adult game. There is warnings on the steam store page about violence, nudity, etc. If you want to play a game that pulls it's punches, find something else.

This is what ESRB ratings are for. The website will tell you quite a bit about what happens in the game.

There is nothing wrong with preferring not to watch gore. I myself am a military veteran and would prefer a gore option. Many games have a choice as to whether you would like the extra gore or not.

The witcher is not gorey enough IMO... They are trying to establish some sort of Adult games and distinguish themselves from other developers.. Like HBO did in TV. They should push it even further. And they probably will in the future.. Besides the rating clearly warns you!

But yeah, it's nothing wrong with don't liking it. There are many of us that welcome these kinds of games with open arms. And there is many options for those who don't.

Anyone know if you can decapitate in this game? Like a mod or something, by the way, I've tried linking the game to Nexus Mod Manager, but doesn't work, anyone know where to linnk it to? I linked it to C:\Program Files\Steam\resource\SteamApps\common\The Witcher 2 but apperently says no, Launcher.exe. nor I have ever torrented anything.

Grizzly, kids like MightOfGuts make me want to puke. Don't ever listen to what losers in the peanut gallery say - he's probably sitting in the dark in his tighty-whities, hoping his mommy won't notice that he isn't doing his homework.

Mentioning your service record in here is pointless, there are way too many little cowards and they don't care. They think they are warriors because they wear out their left mouse-button every year or so.

As for the OP, your warning was the title - Witcher. You should do your homework before buying video games. That would be like me going on to a MarioKart forum and complaining that there isn't enough nudity for my liking.

It's good for a change to have someone complaining about the gore, and not the nudity. I mean, if someone prefers not to watch gore is perfectly understandable (On the other side... what are you? A virgin that doesn't tolerates nudity?! Come on!).
I respect you argument, sir, but to show a crude reality is one of the main points of this game. You can always cover your eyes though. Like in the movies.
