Roche or Iorveth's path, which is better and more appropriate in terms of lore wise?
Title is it, answer thanks.

Both are equally interesting.

Ok but I am wondering which geralt would choose.

Roche path probably more believable for Geralt to choose, just my opinion.

Ahh ok, thanks.

Do them both. Play a game as a swordsman and pick one path, then play as maybe a mage and pick the other. You'll have a nice time with the different builds and the different choice paths are nice to break up a 2nd playthrough.

You get the idea.

Thanks

I sort of thought Iorveth's pass made more sense for Geralt as I read the books, plus he's being asked by zoltan, which I think makes it a big deal. Plus the ultimate goal of Act 2 seems like something Geralt would be a fan of. That said I mean you cant go wrong.

After playing both I much prefer Ioverth's path. You should play both to get the big picture of the whole story though.
While both paths are wildly different but equally enjoyable, I personally think Geralt would pick Iorweth's path, Freshwater has some good points there.

I preferred Iorveth's path, but...what EolSunder said.

Which is better seems to be down to personal preference. It is definitely worth playing both as the story/information you gain is different and will give you two sides to the story.
Concerning Witcher3...can you actually meet Iorveth or Saskia?

I quite miss the grumpy elven bastard. :D

Neither Iorveth or Saskia appear in Witcher 3 whereas Roche does, so in that regard the Roche storyline in W2 follows through better.
