Open world
I know this game is not an open world, but can I visit aby city at any moment or do I have onmy a one way ticket to a city? And if I follow loverth instead of roche, do I visit a different place, or can I visit them all? Thanks for reading!

No you can't visit a city after leaving it. With Iorveth/Roche path, at the end of the chapter for each, you will be able to briefly visit opposite path location.

No problem. It's Iorveth path. Most of the action will be in Vergen.
