SLow loading times?
I have AMD athalon 5600+ stock 2.8 OC'ed to 4.2 With 6 gigs of DDR2 ram, a 1tb Blue WD HDD, and a 750GB Hitachi HDD, and a nvidia gt430 overclocked.. Why does it take so long to load into gameS?

You have not the fastest sytem and HDD. Loading times mainly depend on the texture settings and HDD speed. Lower textures=faster loading. SSD=faster loading.

So I should lower textures and get a SSD?

Lowering textures definitly helps. The SSD was just an example.

Can you give me the best settings for loading if you know them? Will screen resolution do anything? I'm on a 1920x1080 monitor

I would venture a guess it's your video card. A GTX-430 isn't exactly state-of-the-art so, yes, I would try turning down your graphics settings. I have an i7-4770K CPU, a 4GB Radeon R9 290 video card, and a normal 7200 RPM hard drive. Loading times are lightning fast with graphics settings all max'ed out.

but would resolution help if I turn it down?

Lowering Resolution would bring a FPS boost, but then the game will look more blurry.
Try setting Texture/Normal map/Specular Map and Water map on low.

Yeah, that yould be the fault.

I don't have any problems with the times, too. They're totally normal. As i tried playing on a laptop the loading times we're incredibly long.

Would be best if you upgrade your system and then you're prepared for the next 3-4 years ;)

Okay, I'll turnt down the FPS, I ordered a quad core processor, and a titan z, woul d that help? I read that the Titan Z is the best

I think with that graphics card you'll never have problems with any game right now :O

Isn't the Titan expensive as hell ?

why not just build a current intel system on the new z97 platform. you obviously have the money. but even then this game will still give issues. 10,000 rpm hard drive will also boost load times and is cheaper than ssd. i would run ssd for the os and use wd 10k hdd for games, that is what i currently have and the game loads just fine.

ok then build an amd 9590 8core system

you will need a water cooler with that 1. but its the best amd there is. i run the 8350 it doesnt break a sweat on any game. my gpu is the gtx 680 classified. it also has no issue with most any game on ultra/high settings.

Nah, I'll stick to getting this Nvidia titan Z, I actually ordered 2 for SLI. I like my current build.

Almoste verything in it is discontinued so the build itself is pretty sick
