you bought the game via steam now? create a new windows live id when you cant access to your old one and use they key, which will pop up when you start the game then, there.

do you dont know which hotmail account name you had? you can try to restore your pw when you remember it and the safety questions.

OR, you could just try recovering it. Go to the Windows Live website, reset your password, WRITE IT DOWN and then login to your original account.

I bought the game a few months ago, but wanted to play it after a friend just bought it. I tried using another account but when it asks me to insert the game serial key. It tells me its linked to another account. I don't no the infomation to that account.

then create a new account. (how can you forget your email adress??)
or ask someone you might have send a mail about it...

How many e-mail accounts do you have? Because unless you have about 10 of them, you can just try each individual address until one of them gets the request to reset your password.

I think I made one specifically for SFXT and I got bored and stopped playing, I really cant remember it, is there anyway to get another serial code?

Outside of buying another copy of the game in a physical store (because Steam won't let you buy two copies of the same game for yourself)? Nope, not really.

And this is why you have to be careful with your keys and not make a new e-mail account for every single little thing :-/ .

does steam still show you the popup with the serial? i would try to create a new account and to use it there.
i wonder..does the game dont start or do you have now no online features when your not logged in into gfwl?

steam does show the pop up with the serial number.
No online features without being logged in.

from what i read here in the forum you dont miss anything without the online features. i would try to use the serial with a new gfwl account..the worst thing which can happen is that it does not work.
i bought bb and sf4 from ebay for 1€ each and could activate it..i am pretty sure the original owner did that too...so maybe it will deactivate it then from your old account?..i dont know..just try it out before you spend money in a new version.

..? so your to lazy to create a new email account? ...............you spend more time here reading what whe wrote then you would need to create a new account. but at the end its your decision.

Dude, there's no point. He can't play the game properly without being logged in to GFWL and creating a new account does nothing because his game is already tied to another account.

Which kind of makes me wonder why you always have to input the damned serial every single time you install the game if it's ALREADY TIED TO YOUR ACCOUNT, but that's GFWL being needlessly stupid as always.
