post here to encourage capcom to fix the netcode
I created this thread on capocm forums http://www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/go/thread/view/7371/29877875/why-sfxtk-netcode-not-fixed?pg=2 to show them how angry we are about the bad netcode of the game that dont let us play and enjoy online like we do in ssf4 ae. Please go and post there no matter which version of the game you have because netcode is bad in all versions of the game and not just pc version. If a lot of people from both pc and console community post there then capcom will decide to fix it but we must show them first how angry and frustared we are about this whole situtation. Please spread the word to as many major gaming forums and sites as possible to get more people posting there. ok?

sven already commented on this and has said they will not be fixing it ever. You can be angry all you want, it wont happen.

It's not really a netcode thing i think i because all players i play that have around 100FPS or above in the benchmark don't supersaiyan all over the screen when playing with green connection.

The netcode is actually quite good, the problem is either your opponents computer or your connection to eachother. SFxT uses rollback based netcode, which is incredible with low ping, but jumpy with high ping. SF4 uses delay based netcode, which basically adds delay between all of your button presses to try and compensate for the lag inherrent in online play. It ends up looking smoother, but even in the best conditions you have to do everything several frames before you actually intend to do it.

The biggest problem is that nobody plays this game on PC since Capcom doesnt feel like patching it or anything, so whenever you do manage to get an opponent with a perfect computer your ping will be well over a hundred, perhaps several hundred. Youll be teleporting and rewinding all over the place.

Oh, it's also worth mentioning that trying to play a rollback based online game on wifi is a horrible exercise in torture. If either player plays on wifi, the entire game is a mess.

Too difficult, zero profit.

I've had a good experience on Xbox, online has been very playable. For PC I'm having a weirder time in-game and online since the 2013 patch. =/ Slow down in arcade mode! Slow down when spectating online...

It's a shame Capcom won't fix this, I really like the game overall and I wish I could play it on my PC instead of Xbox.

Would you rather them keep working on this ♥♥♥♥heap of a game, or move onto something better. I'm tired of waiting for a fix that will never come, and quite frankly they ♥♥♥♥ed me off by releasing this game on the PC without working netcode.

They promised patches and fixes for this version immediately after launch, and they screwed everyone.

You make plans, and you say screw these plans. Nice job screwing over your PC market.

This game is already over.

Have them port SFIV:AE to steamworks and I'll be a happy camper.

they won't fix the netcode. the game is a joke amongst fans at this point which is sad cause this my favorite street fighter since cvs2. we could only hope for a resurgence like 3rd strike.
