Just to be correct, I assume the pitch angle is the area the gun can turn to aim at from top to bottom? Still 75 down to 40 is pretty drastic, this gun must have been causing some serious problems I'm not aware of yet.

Hm only started just 2 days ago but I am familiar with Carronade. Hope they still work well for ships below us. Was a life saver when one was on top of us.

Never got to try the Artemis though I thought it looked powerful. Guess I'll never get to experience the old power of this cool looking weapon.

bad update

Wonder how much you can see down now. Looks like no more keeping other ships crippled on the ground with it.

Hvy and light Carrronade can no longer look down. Slightly unlder staright ahead is as low as it goes. Same for artemis but cant look up along with the other nerfs.

Just got forced to fly a blenderfish--that is a Goldfish with a Hellhound Carronade at the front--as an engineer, so no pilot tools other than the spyglass.

Was able to get from a 0-2 deficit to a 5-2 win after that. The only huge difference is not being able to loom directly above them, but you can still be up out of a gun's arc if you play with distances...or blind spots.

Just from the plays I've been doing in my first week I'm getting the idea of why they adjusted this. Very difficult to get out from under people if they have a weapon like that pounding your ballon over and over.

haha this was my tried and true stratedgy. ir was kinda sad jsut watching them grind along the ground till death.. I can still do it easily enough though. just had to ajust my position a bit. Ships will grind in the dirt to death regardless! Only thing is spires have a slight chance to defend themselves now vs not at all.

I am very happy about these changes. The squid was too OP.

Man that's going to make it harder to follow a ship with the balloon popped and keep the balloon down if it drops faster than you do... but considering how easy and effective heavy carronades could be I guess that is sort of a good thing.

Not the best update imo, some ships like Goldfish have plenty of blind spots you can hide behind if you get on to the tail, with this update, safe areas are even bigger :|

Interesting update, love the iteration!
