Video Ram
I am looking at buying Guns of Icarus Online but I only have 128mb VRam. The game needs 256mb. Will this be a problem or would it still run smoothly?

List your full system specs.

The 128 meg vram may be the least of your worries (shader model, etc.). That must be a very old card. Even more worrisome if this is a laptop.

Minimum:
OS:Windows 7
Processor:2 GHz processor
Memory:2 GB RAM
Graphics:Intel HD3000, Nvidia GeForce GT8600 or equivalent
DirectX®:dx90c
Hard Drive:3 GB HD space
Other Requirements:Broadband Internet connection

The minimum requirements for the game are very low however.

Resolution is your friend.
Lower the resolution and it may work just fine.
I wont promise you though. In theory that will work. Lower res textures=less memory.
But...

Want to be safe? If they ask for 256mb VRAM And you have less...it wont work.

Want some real advice?
Dont buy the game. Save the cash. Upgrade your computer.

res uses small ammount of vram
1920x1080 will use under 50mb for buffers

the intel 3000 igp can allocate more ram if needed
upto 1g iirc

This. While the VRAM isn't the focal point of your performance, the fact your machine only has 128MB makes me think you're running a REALLY old GPU. I've got a 8600GT laying around and it has 512MB of dedicated VRAM.

Yeah, but this guy is pressed on memory. Lowering res gives an ever slightly higher chance he can play the game.

We also dont know his specs. That intel 3000 is the games minimum specs. not the OP's.

He may not actually have a system capable of increasing memory. let alone play this game

128MB VRAM means its Low End and OLD.
Even a modern $50 GPU would be more powerful then whatever the OP is using.

My last 128 meg card was AGP.

many onboard gpus with shared ram will only use 50-128mb when idle
and dxdiag lies with some gpus

Heck, I bought an AMD Sempron (1.8GHZ) with a GeForce 6150LE Intregrated Chipset that was rocking 256MB of VRAM... I would hate to see what this guy is running...

This was almost 7 years ago..

ATI Radeon 9200 or 9800 possibly.
Something in the 10-20$ price range.

Honestly. I stand by my original statement.
Dont buy the game.
Upgrade the computer.

I have a secondary computer for old games with Geforce 6200 AGP and even that has 512 RAM. Last I have seen 128MB, was the Geforce FX series or Radeon 7500/8500, or the low entry 9250 cards. Not speaking from the fact that nVidia completly stopped the support of anything bellow the sixth series. (dunno about AMD/Ati)
Would be good if you would specify more about your computer, but as was said, it would be on time to upgrade. Even a second-hand GPU costing a few bucks would have more punch what you using now.

My current Specs are:

OS: Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel Pentium CPU B960 @ 2.20GHz
Video Card Intel(R) HD Graphics
(Dedicated Memory 128 MB
Total Memory 1.7 GB)

I've checked everything else and that is runnable

Its using the normal crappy Intel Integrated graphics
As such the answer is most likely a big No or atleast ALL Minimum settings.

That isnt meant for gaming at all though and its far below the Minimum requirements as far as the GPU goes
