Deletes swearing and offensive language from the chat box. For example, "F--- you" would become just ''you" in the chat.

Yeah, that's what it does! There are different levels (we use different lists that we found and add/subtract on top of that), and you can go to options to adjust or turn it off. Thanks!

I disabled it, but i think one of the options replaced insults by harmless words, like "love" "muffin" or there was just someone writing these words in capslock.

There is? Might re-enable it just for the laughs then. Thought it might be confusing seeing something like "love your muffin" pop up in chat :D

I would re-enable it, but as CA I should at least ask the writers, to stop using insults and if the words are just confusing me, I would not even notice, what he wrote.

Funny I think I'd be yelling profanity while showering the enemy with bullets and rockets. But I guess that's only polite in solo games
