air fighters?
can we add a new thing to guns? i was very much hoping for meek lil fighter planes, just like bi planes but are able to scout and dish out some hurt larger ships like galleons and junkers and such. i already know there would be an unfair advantage to the planes attacking ballloons so just decrease damage to balloons from planes. also maybe make it 2 seater! have a pilot and a gunner like bombers, i think it would be so much fun flying a squad around maps scanning for enemy balloons and engage in dogfights with other bi planes while your giant airships do battle. now of course they cant keep in flight forever so either each ship would be stationed with a docking area maybe under and behind the ship or either and area of the map you have to land on the ground to repair and refuel, i personally thing that if you have a big balloon sized ship you can hold more fighters while more agile ships like the squid and gold fish could hold maybe 1-2 while a gallieon would hold like 2-3, of course maybe ship caps would increase because you need a pilot, gunners and enginners and you could have a fifth as a fighter and when not locked in combat then scout as a squad, of course leaving your balloon with low crew so it is still to the part of the game being a taticful game.

There will be those kind of biplanes for Coop but they are AI ships.
We may see them once in coop or Adventure once those things are out but most likely never in PvP.

How long until co-op/adventure mode is out? I saw a video on the kickstarter site and it looks like adventure mode will be lots of fun.

Coop will probably be released sometime this year.
Adventure ... 2015ish ...
There are no official release dates yet.

I've posted a suggestion for several ways something like this could work, and other players have also made proposals there.

I'm not sure how likely this is, or how plausible it would be to implement with the current state of the game engine, but it's definitely an interesting concept that I'd love to see Muse explore.
