I love how Splerp and Axo are already past the plebs this week. D:

It took me awhile to break the 80k mark, and now it's just barely getting to 83k... I'll have an update video up tomorrow to show my pathing on this fight. Still though, this has to be my favorite week so far! It's nice and short with the sub-stations acting as time-gates so that I don't need to panic for a few seconds between each platform.

Splerp and I are using this route:

We wait for a few seconds to be able to get the purple martini that spawns at the center twice. I don't know if that was intended design but... I won't say no to extra points :D

That route is just surgical. I will have to try and imitate Splerp and Axo now.... here are the current leaders:

Here's what my first score run looked like:

My second (82k) is uploading right now, and my current 85k will be up shortly. (Edit: added them to the end of this post.)

Breakdown of the run:

0.03: Looking about to find the first CP. Getting into posision in order to get some drinks, then then hop onto the Sub-Station quickly.

0.15: Listening for the cue here to start jumpping off the platform. My main goal is to get to the other platform quickly, and at first I couldn't seem to hover over with the jet pack alone. My placement on the first sub-station is to reach a jump-pad and use that to sail over to the next station.

0.30: again, waiting for the cue and setting myself up to grab the Triple Fire. After grabing that triple fire, I'm using the jump pad in front for air time so I can concentrate on aiming while floating to the next power-up.

0.40: As I learned from Week 4, Triple + Spliter = SIX SHOT POWAHHH

0.45: Second Titan starts to spawn, I'm setting up my fall to land on the Rapid Fire powerup while shooting for the lower titan parts. My next jump is going to spike from the top, so gotta clear out all the weaker parts I can first.

0.50: Made it! Now for the final run, hop into the jumpp-pad, and aim right in for the purple Martini.

I was wondering what was going on with that center martini! I kept rushing the sub-stations and finding that the martini was not appearing. In my later runs, everything fit into place, grabing it along the way, but I wasn't sure why it was appearing correctly until now.

This is what I was trying to perfect in my run, getting all the power-ups to finish the final titan faster. Along with getting the Purple Martini twice.

And then the 3rd (wait . . . 4th D: ) place run!

Axo in first; Splerp in second, and Cat in third with a solid 2,000 point lead over our own Ryan, who originally designed this level. Oh, the humanityyyyyyyyy!

I just saw your 85k video from your channel, nice run :D . I was going crazy trying to figure out why your purple martini was spawning so early! But then I realised you probably were standing in the beginning but isn't shown in the video.

hehe, thanks! :) Yeah, funny story on that one! I record my videos to a Western Digital Green drive, which has great storage space, but requires some time to spin up. If I don't delay for a few seconds, then the first few seconds of recording would be lost!

I can't stream with my current setup (The framerate hit is too much :( ) but I love the DRBR show too much! Will watch every friday <3

Looks like the leaderboard and order is unchanged but Cat Planet has upped their score while Splerp and Axo sit back and drink Margaritas.
