9 gig update after disc install?

hey, not sure if i messed up my instll or what. it's showing me 9gigs to DL after disc 3. has anyone else got this? trying reinstall now, ty for feedback :)

7 gigs actually, just finished reinstall. disc 3 runs for a couple mins and then it calls finished and starts download. my buddy is gonna kill me when he gets his bill. :/

What you should do is install the game. Then create a folder with the games title in steamapp/common folder and copy all the game file to that location and then click the play button in steam, I think it is around a 1G download then or around that.

Steam retail discs don't always cover all of a game's data, instead it installs the majority of it, and then downloads the rest like you would do the digital release.

download the whole thing lol its like 28 gig

the game is about 16 gigs on steam, the retail discs covers about half of that, If it's correctly installed to the right steam folder, steam will finish downloading the rest.

You have a capped internet service? where are ya from?

not capped, just bad data limits and charges. plus.. its slow, gonna take hours. damusteam

I got the same problem. After installing all discs, steam says BA O origins is installed to 54% and the rest needs to be downloaded. Strange thing is, that disc one and two data are about 15 GB and the third disc is ~ 5 GB but but there are only 6 GB + 3 GB + 1,5 GB installed.
