Why is Witcher so good? **SPOILERS**

I mean seriously! The only downfall i have is with the Dice and Fist Fighting. Everything else is so good. I mean as ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as the Swamp was, it was still so interesting to hear everyone talk about it. Meeting the Druids and Bolt the Dwarf. Brick makers were irritating, but whatever!!

I only recently started reading the Glossary about the Characters and monsters, etc. It really opens your eyes up on the story and makes it so much better! Plus you can think other than the story and be blown away like i was when Raymond turned out to be Javed!!

Overall, with 20 hours or so into it so far, i can say with the greatest feeling in my ♥♥♥♥♥. I can say i love this game, and it was the best money i ever spent; although it was on sale when i bought it.

I hope EVERYONE who likes RPG's will play The Witcher. I cannot say anything about The Witcher 2, as i have yet to play it - Much like Mount & Blade, i can't play Warband till i beat the first one - i c will gladly say i am excited tho!

I hope to see Steam Trading cards in The Witcher 2 and 3 one day!! My favorite character is eaisly Shani. what a babe, right? Triss?! Lezbehonest, we all know it.

Skip the first Mount & Blade. Warband is the exact same game, they just added an additional faction, changed a few stats and updated the graphics a bit. Basically it's just like playing the original with an expansion pack installed. Gives a few more options, but the campaigns remain identical.

My only problem with this game is amout of running. It took me 35h to beat the game and about 20h was devoted to running. And there is no auto-run button =(

I recently replayed Witcher 1 due to WItcher 3 E3 hype...the game is good indeed. I just love how rich and enjoyable every character is in the universe with such great character development.

Yeah loved it. The story, characters and their motivations.
The one complaint and it's a major one as I just can't stand it in games is repeating character models. I mean some games will use the same models for the extra/filler characters but this actually used identical character models for main/plot forwarding characters. Shame for an RPG.

And while playing I was comparing it a lot to Dragon Age Origins (same engine?). And the more mature presentation of The Witcher obviously drew me in but because of this one major flaw I think DAO beats TW in a 1 on 1. After that however, the franchise and TW2 completely destroy DA2 and the DA universe.

What i like about The Witcher is that there aren't obviously good or bad decisions like in Mass Effect for example (which i btw love very much). You could think it's the right choice to help the Elves and Dwarves because they're not equal but you have to wonder if the end justifies the means. So you may come to the conclusion that their way of becoming equal is not the right way. I didn't like the fighting system in The Witcher1 though. The Witcher 2 is way better in that sector.
PS: If you liked Shani for example there will be a lot more characters you gonna like in "The Assassins of Kings" because the presentation of the characters in the second Witcher is amazing :)

On my first playthrough,I knew something is wrong with Raymond, cause when you approach him, your medallion vibrates, as if its a monster or magical artifact/

Witcher 2 is 10x better after beating this with ~40hrs :)

Loving the Witcher 1. Played a few hours of the sequal on the xbox, traded it for steam credit, bought both games for half the price of the xbox trade. nice
