Does this run on Windows 7
Gamersgate has this on sale for $2.50 and it says digital edition does not run on 64bit vista so would Win 7 have trouble.

Thanks

Through Steam it works perfectly. I tried the actual store-bought version as well though, and it doesn't work on Windows 7 x64, just due to the anti-piracy software involved not being Win 7 compatible.

Well, it runs well on my Win 7 x64 but crashes after every 2-3 hours when loading a game or entering a location for example.

Actually, even though Electronic Arts didn't develop the game we spoke with them and they assured me that this was actually a very specific and design intended feature to protect you from eye strain. It, in fact, can not be played unless it crashes every 2-3 hours. Design issues you know. Can't be helped.....Nope....Just part of the game....

I have problem with the WITHCHER in W7 but I solve the problem using compatible mode including some command lines

Running it with Windows 7 64-bit with no problem. Even Creative's Alchemy software was able to provide EAX support easily enough, though it sounds terrible for some reason. I suspect it needs some specific settings.
