so, no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, is this fun or what? asking as an RPG fan who also likes story and combat. all frank answers appreciated!
Don't get me wrong, the Witcher 2 is a fantastic game that I can't recommend enough. But the first part of the series is better as far as story and atmosphere are concerened. The characters are equally fun and alive in both games and I won't go into detail on the combat systems in the games (that's just a matter of opinion, both are quite challenging on hard settings and I like them both quite a lot).
However your decisions have a lot more impact in the first game and you get quite a lot more of them. Do you slay monsters or try and find a cure for their curse? Do you join one of the factions or try and stay neutral on the witchers path?
I'm currently on the last chapter of the game, and I recommend it. I haven't touched Witcher 2 yet so I can't compare the two, but the first game has an interesting story and cool characters.
As far as the combat is concerned, it's different which I like, but has a small learning curve compared to other similar titles. I will say that the game has a ton of content in terms of side missions and random things like fighting for money and playing dice poker.
So far, I have to say I prefer Abigail ;)
Don't get your hopes up.
i said that after receiving her card, lol yeah I'm weird
