If so, try switching your movement to mouse and keyboard. Doing so will allow you to click on an area you wish to go to and Geralt will auto-path to that location. So, all you would have to do is click on the ground where the NPC is and you should walk to it, even if the path is really obscure and long.
I played through the witcher using this method because there are a lot of little barriers in the game. But that's to be expected in older games like this.
I tried this, but had no luck. It's not a matter of the path being obscure, it's blocked entirely. When I loaded it this time there's a wall of floating flowers instead of an invisible one. At this point I am so utterly sick this game's absurd quest log and nonsensical logic that I don't even want to finish the thing.
You may try going on top of the abandoned building (where you get one of the mirror pieces) and from there click nearby the big tree on the Raspberry Patch. Geralt should find it's way.
Do you (or did you) use any cheats, mods, trainers, scripts etc. ?
I have not used any mods, cheats or anything else that may cause the game to behave improperly. I am certain that I am visiting the location during the day, and can even see the midday bride wandering around the base of the tree, but can't reach her because of the barrier.
That's good.
Let's try if we can pin down the source of the issue. Download my savegame. Geralt should run straightway to the hill with the big tree. Is it possible to get to Alina?

If so: Upload one of your savegames after Geralt met a smith to repair the mirror, but out of sight of the hill. Give us the link.
