Need helping picking a side in chapter 4

I picked The Order at the bank, but for the hostage situation I want to side with Scoia'tael. I don't have the option though. It's either side with The Order, or be neutral then kill everybody

I believe you can side with them by asking the bank people outside about a back way in to the bank. Go in alone and talk to whathisface the elf, he is in the basement. Offer to help clear a path for them to escape through the sewers. However, once you do this, there is no turning back, Scoia'tael for life, no Order blacksmith, no more friendship with Sigfried.
