Its been said before, "Great story, terrible game". Worth playing if you get it for $5
The game is terrible - terrible graphics (textures, animations, etc.), tiny/repetitive levels and uninspired combat. That said, the story is engaging - very true to the George Martin "Game of Thrones" source material and the voice actors are pretty good throughout.

If you are a game of thrones fan and pick this up for a fiver, put it on easy and coast through the game just for the story and try to ignore how bad the rest of it is.

Somebody hire the writing team from this game to move over and work for Bethesda to beafen of the next Elder Scrolls.

Agreed. I'm almost done myself (chapter 13), and I've been pleasently surprised by this game. The story is excellent and lifts everything up. Also...I actually prefer this combat than that of Dragon Age: Origins (ducks head from people hurling rocks).
The voice acting is pretty hit or miss. Valaar had a really creepy voice that was well read and well suited. On the other hand, Gawen's voice actor sounded like he wasn't even trying. But now moving on to the bad.

I try not to judge games by their graphics (so long as the story is good, why should I care?), but this is unforgiveably atrocious. While I find the process of combat in this game good, the AI during combat is clunky. I can't tell you how many times I've fought a mob and kept having to redirect my guys toward targets.

All in all, I feel this game deserved much higher than the 3's, 4's, and 5's it got from the critics. I'm one of the biggest Song of Ice and Fire fans you will meet, and I got this from the Humble Bundle, so I've really enjoyed the game and felt it was worth the $1 donation I made.
