want to play, but its unplayable for me

From looking at the stuff here, i'm really interested in seeing the story of this game, im a big fan of game of thrones, but i have had this game for ages, and am really stuck with the mouse swing when holding the right button. I decided today to force myself to try to get used to it, but it frustrates me that when i want to turn, i have to use the right button, and move the mouse, and then my character spins in place and i then have to re-orient and find out where im facing, then make another attempt at going in the direction i wish to. If i could stop the minimap spinning at the top, that would help me figure out what direction im facing faster, but thats not an option it seems, and ive turned the mouse sensitivity to the minimum, and can turn properly IF i remember to only move about 1mm at a time which is easier said than done. I've looked on google for people with similar problems, and just see a lot of 'try turning it off then on again' solutions. I dont have any mouse related programs that i know of, i recently wiped my laptop back to factory settings which is one of the things that made me think this game might finally be playable. Im using a microsoft mouse and i just cant seem to get the mouse sensitivity to a sensible level. Should i be using a gamepad or something if i want to be able to control my characters?

forgot to mention that the mouse sensitiviy is fine when using the cursor, it is only camera control that is getting to me. Making the whole mouse temporarily as sensitive as a potato will fix the camera, but make movign from one part of the screen to another require a mouse mat the size of a snooker table. I'm normally a calm person but i did 'rage quit' earlier and uninstall it, then come on here looking for solutions, thats when i found out the game would be good if i can solve the control issues, so its re-installing, and ill try again with a gamepad unless anyone knows any fixes for the camera.

No free camera is really a big problem for me too. Also the combat system feels like a joke to me. The story is not bad though.

I feel exactly the same about controls. I abandoned the game after some time.

agree combat is just a joke . devs trying to do too much end up with nothing shame . this game would be improved vastly by having auto combat to get through the waste of space combat to at least have the story

I dont really have a problem with the mouse swing. Camera seems ok to me.
