Is this game worth it?
I enjoy the series very much, but I am not sure if I'll like the game. Graphics seem a bit weird to me, with some kind of flare around objects ...

This is an official game of Game of Thrones, right?
Will the game continue to be updated as the series develop?

How's the story, mechanics, atmosphere ... Better than TV show or not?

Yes, this is an official game. The game will not be updated as the series develop, plot-wise it is independent from the series and it is already concluded. Graphics, animations, voice acting and sound effects suck. Fighting mechanics are repetitive which gets boring. Story-wise it's not so bad though, quite the opposite.
The game is not terrible, but it's definitely not worth its full price, I'd wait for a summer sale.
Take from that what you will and good luck to make the right decision :)

I thought it was worth it. Be clear, though, this is not a AAA title, so the graphics are rough and extra content is lacking. Structurally, it takes a while to get going, and although that's in service of the plot it still may annoy some.

The combat is pretty detailed and strategic (real time with pause), but it's main failing is that for almost half of the game you only control one character, which is a little too simple to keep things interesting.

However, I found that the story is quite satisfying and the the main voice actors are convincing. There are plenty of moments that have a tremendous amount of that uncompromising brutality that you won't find in most RPG. It builds up well to a very satisfying conclusion- bleak, brutal, but also well thought out and framing the whole plot. In fact, the conclusion was so strong for me that it elevated my lasting experience of the game, making me forgive much of the tedium that went before.

Well i tried to stick with the game, but doesnt feel right and not very good. If you are thinking something like Elder Scroll Series or Two World Styles, then you are in the wrong place. Glad i didnt spend much on this while on sale.

Get The Witcher 1 and 2, and pretend it's set 10000 years before the events of the series.

i enjoyed it on PS3, and when i saw it for $5 it was a no-brainer. i'd say go for it if you're a huge fan of slower, more tactical RPGs, as well as obviously being a fan of the show. the gameplay reminds me a lot of KOTOR & dragon age: origins.

Graphics are mediocre.

Animation sucks.

Voice action is generally flat except for some characters.
Thankfully the voices of the two protagonists are ok.

Progression is quite linear with few sidequests and areas to explore and a couple of choices that mildly affect the story.

Story is good and it gets really good as the game goes on.
Has a big spoiler for the first novel near the end of the game.

Combat is strategic and challenging on hard mode.
Probably on the boring side on normal mode.
Combat control is very clunky.

The story DLC is so-so. Focuses mostly on combat. Length of DLC is 1.5-2.0 hours.

No, I didn't enjoy it. Maybe if you see it for $5 or less.

That's the problem, this is a story driven game and not an open world game like Skyrim, Oblivion or Two Worlds in which the story is more of an afterthought or an excuse to explore the world.

This game will appeal a lot more to fans of story driven games like Dragon Age Origins.

I've played my share of CRPGs and I have to say that as far as the story is concerned the Game of Thrones RPG is probably one of the best games I've played in this genre (if not the best).

well...I think that this is an average game....not so good and not so bad after all....it get some insight about the series itself and appear to be refering to a period before and about the first episodes of 1st season.....anyway....if you can get this on a promo like i did...its worth it....
