Super laggy?

My game is extremely laggy and I cannot even play it, it is not my hardware as I have been running borderlands 2 on full high just fine, anyone else have this problem?

Could you let me know what hardware you're running? I've seen the game lag before but I thought I'd fixed it. Sorry about that - I'll try to figure out what's going on.

No offense but i wan't to play it not watch it, been looking forward to this game for a while now and i can't even be in the main menu without it hitting 5 fps

If it helps, my game has been running great, except when I created a level and added it. Worked fine while creating and testing, but when playing it as a downloaded custom level, it was very laggy.

No that doesn't help my situtation, for me as soon as i launched it it hit 5FPS in every part of the game.

I'm sure you've already done this, but have you tried a system restart? Mine was really laggy the first time I ran it, but a restart took care of it.

Just tested the game again and it is magicly working, no idea how but i guess it's all good now. wierd ass glitch

I have a feeling that this is going to be an annoying bug to reproduce. :) I'm glad it's working for you though - if it magically breaks again let us know!

I'll be sure to, the game is awesome by the way, really hard but awesome, great job with it!

I'm having lag issues as well. Already tried rebooting, no dice there. We're talking about 4FPS, unplayable lag - on the main menu.

Yep, I've also got the horrendous framerate issue - I'll do a restart in a sec and if it persists, I'll throw a DXDiag up.

In the beggining my frame rates were perfect. was showing from 60-300 fps. It seems teh more I play the more readily the game begins to lag tho. reducing dframerates ~4 fps unexpectedly on level load, it will persist like that untill I restart the game or sometimes even restart my computer. I can't pinpoint the problem but i assume sometimes the data trie to load to much to quickly and then just continues to suffer.
It says , attempting to open sounds/music/basstrack.ogg
then blue green and red tracks as well
then it gives the error Open Al error was raised: 40963
repeatedly, ight have somthing to do with it?
