Steam Achievements Not Showing Up

The ingame achievements work fine, but steam doesn't seem to notice when I get them. Anyone know why this is, or know a way to fix this problem?

It's a known problem, Not really sure why, best guess is that the game and steam don't communicate effectively at times. steam shows about half of my acheivements. and thats all it wille ver show sadly.

Known problem, but isn't it a Steam web presentation issue? You'll notice your client has no problem, but applications that use the web based interface to Steam's achievement pages seem to have a problem. Try going to an achievement stats page like 'achievementstats' or 'astats.astats.nl' (they base their data on the web interface) and you'll see it doesn't work. But with your game it'll show up.

I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed. I wonder if anybody reported it as a bug? I haven't. I'd say it is a Steam bug, but it might take action from the developer too to get attention paid.

It gets weirder too. They show up in my library page, but when I clcik onto "view all achievments" I have none at all! Game devs should check these discussion pages for bugs now :)

Yeah, I agree they should check, but they might not remember. I just filed a bug through their contact support page, we'll see how that goes. If they don't respond I'll file another bug with Valve asking for help.

They didn't get back to me yet. I filed a new bug report with Valve/Steam.

Update: Feb 25th, Steam got back to me Friday while I was out. They said its because I must not have been connected to the internet when I achieved it, but this doesn't ring true to me.

fault lays with the game a few other games had this sort of problem too

new star soccer has the same issue still too

fairy bloom freesia also had that issue but they fixed it

mine got all screwy when steam crashed behind the game and the game said i acheived something i was working really hard to get but no pop up so i exited the game and got a ton of steam error messages and it crashed (big picture mode most resent beta update) eventualy the acheivment showed up on my steam game page but when i look at stats it says that i didnt get it. it was all very strange and frustraiting

i can confirm this as well. achievements not unlocking is a common bug, but having them still showing in the library and nowhere else? thats a complete new level :D

update: apparently once you quit the game you will get the achives like normal
