The Patch will be Soon and it's predicted size(with source).
So guys i been follow steamdb.info lately and i come with lots of things. You can check the site just go to Website link [steamdb.info] and check the app history. Just before 5 hour they actually updated their process with its size and its looks like there are many files in there patch. Looks like the patch is going to be in many GB's. If you combine all the file size it comes about 8.5GB.

That's actually smaller than I had imagined. I was predicting at least 12-14GB. Thanks for the Update!

Thanks by the way :) Now i know to conserve some of my bandwidth around the 10gb range for this game lol

I don't understand why bandwidth caps are still around.

Bring it. I wouldn't mind downloading the entire game again, if it meant that it's working flawlessly, or that by some miracle, they actually converted this thing to DX12 and fixed it.

Want to know why? South Africa, they rip you off here. Guess how much does it cost per month for my 2mb line? $50 (USD).

If i reach the 130gb bandwidth cap they trottle my UNCAPPED line down to 512kbps line(meaning 40kbps download speed).

I wanted to sue them for false advertisement cause clearly they dont know what UNCAPPED means so they directed me to the small print, something i miss read that covered them. The whole South Africa works likes this. SCAM SCAM AND MONEY GRAB because there is only 2 companies here that provide uncapped internet that is to be trusted and they use this policy.

If you hover over the depot numbers you can see that they are different languages. Actual patch for English users should be less than 3-4gbs I would estimate.

I'm hoping we will see some higher quality texture packs, I image this patch will also include more graphical options, fixes and the new photo mode. Main thing I want though is better performance.

how long does it usually take for something to go from being found on steamdb to added to steam? (hours, days, weeks, ect.)

What you posted doesn't tell my why they do it, it just tells me what they do. I understand what they do, and because they're greedy. I guess to rephrase my question, is it really necessary? To they actually have a ligitimate reason to do this?

It's worthless to ask anyway, they will always come up with some BS answer to screw people over.
