resolution keeps resetting and mouse doesn't work [mac]
After a few days of having no problems, suddenly I am having no end of issues with getting the game to run at the right resolution. Every time I start the game now, it goes full screen to some resolution that only lets me see about 2/3rds of the screen. I can't access the options menu to fix it. The mouse buttons also become unresponsive, so the only way I can quit is to command-Q, which doesn't always actually stop the program.

Sometimes when I force quit, the game goes back to its default resolution, which I can work with...I can usually set the game back to 1440x900. But when I quit the program, the whole the starts over again.

Anyone have a solution?

That is an odd problem, the game does reset to default display settings if it isnt shut down through the menu, so force quitting would achieve this.

I added this incase someone selects settings that crash the game due to memory and then cant get the game to run again because it crashes on start up thereafter with the unsafe settings.

It sounds like in your case the settings are being over written or the game is dropping down to an unsuported mode. If you run it at your native display resolution make sure it is in fullscreen and not windowed.

Thanks for the reply. I'll actually be getting a new computer soon anyway, so maybe that will solve the problem.
