Your longest mission
This is mine.
Lost Cargo Southeast of Delta.

I left with a full tank of fuel, three reserves and high hopes. The weather on Mars was nice and I had all the upgrades. Figured I fly in cockpit and get the extra experience for a big payday but I just missed the cargo's transponder range on the first pass. I came to a hover, changed course and made a second pass. On the replay it shows that at the critical spot I was in almost the same place, maybe another ten feet away. Of course the weather had turned bad with blinding sandstorms. Lots of near collisons, but I skillfully avoided all impact while gliding over the terrain sometimes 2 meters off the ground.

I ended up refueling all my tanks. then I went out again with no luck. Fueled up again and gave up on in cockpit. Finally found the cargo but only had 300 fuel. I could barely make it home with no cargo. I noted the location, flew back to Delta, crash landed, fueled up again and bought repairs and flew back to the cargo. At first it wasn't there, but then a huge sigh of relief as the transponder came in range. I took the payload home in cockpit but didn't get credit because I had spent some time out of cockpit. I was just glad to be done.

Watching the replay, well, it ran out at thirty minutes so I'm not sure how long this mission took. I think in real time it was about an hour and a half. I think I will remember to the end of my days that the lost cargo southeast of Delta is actually east southeast.

Haha, nice story, and yes the Replay files are limited to approximately 30 minutes. This was an arbitrary number I chose as most missions shouldn't take any longer than 10 minutes.
