Economy and base building.
Hey sh0v0r. I have some ideas for you for future updates on this game.
For advanced pilot who have lots of money and nothing else to spend it on. we should be able to buy modules and fly them around to set up new bases.

When you buy a module, you have to go pick it up and hover over it for a certain length of time in which is attaches to the lander with a cable. It would have its own momentum, and if you pilot carelessly, it could swing, causing some pendulum forces, which would be trouble.

If you get into too much trouble, you always have the option to cut the cable to save yourself.

You can deploy the module anywhere on the terrain. It would unfold and create a landing zone. From there, you keep bringing more modules and setting them on the landing zone to expand the base(imagine the workers are unpacking and setting everything up for you)

Have a mining upgrade for the lander. You can go land at any spot on the terrain and activate the miner which drills into the ground. You would need to activate downward thrusters on to keep your lander against the ground.

Have prospecting equipment. ground penetrating sonar or something . requiring you to land and evaluate the mineral density of a given landing spot and how good it would be to mine there.

Yea! these are great ideas. I especially like the idea for building new bases around the map.

I would appreciate this idea as well. Maybe there could be a buildable mine for Helium-3, which would be not as too fantastic, as "they" already think about opportunities to get that stuff, though.
