Do you enjoy flying? Do you enjoy a challenge? Do you have a 360 controller or a HOTAS joystick? Then yes.

This game is realistic in the sense of a flight sim, but it's completely different. Here, you are trying to master near zero-G physics, which is a unique experience and quite fun. It's very challenging and when you've made your first successful flight you feel awesome. Although challenging, the game is very accessible and easy to learn. Also, the music is awesome and creates a really cool atmosphere.

By playing this game, you really start to appreciate what astronauts do.

It's a decent game. Supporting an indie developer is nice, too. In some ways, I feel the latter eclipses the former, but I'm not disappointed in the game, either. Just not ecstatic.

Do you have to get extra software to use a joystick

My Saitek X-65F works out of the box. That's a HOTAS setup. Can't get much more complex than that. So I assume all sorts of joysticks are supported.

I got this on sale and am surprised by how fun it is. Yes, it's a sim type game so be prepared for some initial challenge. The graphics are great and the missions are fun, I'm just getting the hang of it now after about an hour.

I mean if what you see in the videos looks exciting, you can't go wrong. You can remap the controls but the default works well, especially with a controller.

It`s a fantastic modern adaption of Lunar Lander, that alone makes it worth the few bucks it costs.

If you like realistic flight sims even a little bit, you'll love Lunar Flight. Stick with it though the initial learning curve... watch the training videos and use the practice mode for a while. Once you begin to complete missions, earn upgrades and fly on other maps the experience is very, very rewarding. I have found Lunar Flight to be an extremely good gaming value and have already talked a bunch of my friends into buying it.

Best when played in cockpit. Plus you get more XP that way. It's one of those games you'll find yourself going back to for entertainment after being let down by so many garbage AAA titles.

That X-65F looks like a nice setup. I always liked the twist feature ever since the MS Sidewinder. And miss it, but with my CH Prothrottle and Fighterstick I get an extra axis; it's old but still does the job well.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself with this game. :)
Now I hear Shov is expanding it to multiplayer. That could be amazing.. Really looking forward to the updates. He keeps dropping bits here and there and has never given up on it.. I appreciate that kind of perserverience.. If I even spelld that right.. you get the point.. heh..
