Windows 8?
Has any one had any luck playing this game in windows 8. I just recently started messing around with windows 8 and it seems i cant play Kotor 2. I verified that one of the files was missing (it didnt tell me which one) and said it would be installed but...nothing so anyone that could help that would be great, Thanks

You know what we need here is somebody who actually knows how to solve this, not just someone who can sympathise with us.

Yeah the same for me the mod is installed ad the game starts and then stops working around the lucas arts logo

maybe its because its 64 bit... try installing the mod and running it in compatibility mode or something that might help
i only have a slight problem with the resolution which i cant get it over 1024x760 and thats a bit wierd bu other than that it works just fine
i played just a bit and I'm half way through peragus with no erros or crashes what so ever

Launch from administrator, disable steam overlay and automatic updates in steam and try XP SP2 or XP SP3 compatibility modes, might help

I'm running Win8 64bit with the TSLRC mod installed. No problems at all, steam overlay works, don't have to run in compatibility mode. 10 hours in with I think one crash. Guess the only thing I can suggest is just reinstalling the game plus mod.
