Yeah.
In fact, the The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM) is HIGHLY recommended, as it fixes hundreds of glitches and bugs in the game, plus restores content that was supposed to be in the game, but was cut due to time constraints.
There are other, proper mods as well.
But TSLRCM is really a kind of half-patch, half-mod, as it doesn't really add new content to the game, but rather, restores what was always meant to be in the game; plus, fixes the bugs that occured when Obsidian was forced to rush the game out (and was later forbidden to patch. (Stupid Lucasart...))
