KOTOR 2 keeps crashing

I ran a disk cleanup and a defrag on my computer and now everytime I launch KOTOR 2 I get a message saying an error caused KOTOR 2 to quit working. When I went to the games directory under steam steamapps ect. I noticed that there is no .exe file for this game. I have tried restarting my computer, verifing the cache for the game, even unistalling and re-installing the game and nothing works. The verify cache comes back good. Can anyone out here help me?

Is there an .exe now that you uninstalled and reinstalled? No .exe sounds like no game to me.

There wasn't. I ended up having to copy te files from a friend but I got it to work
