Game wont run

Hey guys, I wonder if anyone here can help me. I played this before on my PC but now the game wont run anymore. I've already tried verifyng integrity of files but to no avail. Here's my specs:

CPU: i5 6600
RAM: 16GB DDR4
VCard: Nvidia GE Force 750 Ti

There are several known issues with the game, just because it is quite an old game and it runs pretty choppily through Steam and on newer systems.

Does the game just not start or does the game launch and crash after launch? The most common issue I've seen people have with this game is resolved by disabling movies or disabling fullscreen in the config file.

Do note, that before doing this I recommend making a backup of the file that you're about to change by copying it to somewhere else first.

To access the config file, locate your game files (if you don't know where they are located right click the game in your steam library, select properties > local files > browse local files) and look for the text filed called "swkotor2". Once opened up this should show just a bunch of lines of code.

Under graphics options look for the line that says "fullscreen=1" and change that to a 0.

Under that create a new line and type "AllowWindowedMode=1"

And then if that doesn't work, find the line that says "Disable Movies=1", and change the 1 to a 0 and "Disable Intro Movies=1" to a 0

Could be a Steam update not picking up the game properly - might be worth trying disabling the Steam overlay or even reinstalling Steam. Otherwise you are looking at working through the standard fixes.
