Ever since the first patch the game is not playable shows 50/60fps (afterburner) constantly however the track is constantly stuttering (worse on corners). This happens on single/multiplayer, i had it maxed out perfect originally, anyone else having this? currently ive thrown away £30.. no issues with pc runs BF3 flawlessly and F1 2011 Codemasters have broken it? ....

I have the same thing with the stuttering after the patches came out. Before the game was running fine.

I have set all the parameters of my graphics-card settings back to default.
Worked for me.

In 2010 and 2011 it was the replay file causing the stutters, but I have not seen this mentioned in this edition. It might be worth looking back in the 2010 forum to get the work around and give it a try. If it does work, there is a drawback, as you don't get any replay facility after the fix. It worked for me and most others who were not bothered about replays.
I have got a different rig since then, so I can't say whether it is the game, or my rig, that is not giving me the stutters this time round!.

maybe you can have a look into you graphic card settings and see what kind of feautures you have activated... and maybe put you graphic card to high performances rather then default

I've got the same thing after the first patch. Now with patch #4 it's better, but still there.
I have a nVidia GT260, that should be alright with DX9 settings. Hope it will be gone with patch #5 and #6.

Thx for the replies guys, yes slightly better with latest patch, I have 560ti dx11 card, have set it to high performance turned off aa and v-sync and its still not playable really when the road doesnt flow properly you cant brake at the right time . We need a patch to sort out this issue as its a serious problem when a game is not usable. The worst thing is it was perfect for me when it was first released....

same problem with stuttering, notice it most with the Championship challenges, e.g. overtaking Hamilton in the wet on the Brazilian track. Ati Radeon 4850 and a Quad Core Intel CPU 2.7 Ghz.
