Error Code 41

I've downloaded and installed F1 2012 but when I launch the game it starts to launch it but then closes to say "completing installation" and this is quickly followed by;

"The Steam Servers are too busy to handle your request for F1 2012 (Error 41). I was just wondering if anyone knew what Error code 41 meant?

I think there are some many problems with servers, not sure if is a CM problem or Steam problem. The proof is, I created a new profile, enter on time trial, i didn't do anything, exit to main menu, everthing is ok. I enter on Champions Challenge (or any similar I've got in Spanish), I did the Raikkonen challenge, ok, and when exit to main menu, CRASH, and steam leave me your error, but in spanish, it's that ERROR CODE 41.

Exactly same problem as described in the first post. I click to launch the game, logo of F1 2012 appear, then the fullscreen black screen and then crash - completing instalation... bla bla Error 41

i am also getting this issue, i get to where you select your profile. i select it the screen flickers and then get the error 41 message. I have found that if i start a new frofile it will let me in the game.... but that results in all your online stats etc being reset. NOT HAPPY was 3rd on the leaerboard.

i have the same problem! the game dowsn´t even start, only black screen for some seconds and then he shows me the error 41

mine says on the back of the box not for sale in the u.k..... lol its from simpy games

THE PROBLEM IS GONE. For me - it helped to install the newest nVidia drivers.

I have ERROR 41 too, while doing Young drivers testing :(

i have the latest drivers, i have error 41 too
this is really ♥♥♥♥, is this what payed for???

I had same problem, but I also installed new nvidia drivers and problem was solved.
