why is it when i get rammed I get the penalty

A common problem amongst F1 2012's online penalty system, it's just flawed and inaccurate judgement. I wouldn't worry too much, we all have the problem one time or another, you may feel like you're being cheated at points, but everyone goes through the same issues so it's best to ignore it, and embrace it.

Hopefully they'll fix it soon, or at least improve the system in the next game.
