Accessing the editor

Achievements be damned, I want to access the editor. but when after I modified the launch options to open up the console and type 'editor' it says 'command not found.'

As far as i know the editor has been left out of the bfg edition. Maybe it still exists in the coed but it is no accessible.... :(

Since you have the con' availiable try "cmdlist e" (or is it listcmd(s)? fergot).
That should list all commands starting with OR commands with an e, again, I ferget which. heh.

The cmd' might have changed but then again this version is predominatly for 3D vision, not the best enviroment for editing the game/mods. heh. Then there is the older DooM's, not sure how they would tie in. Maybe what they did was exchange editing stuff for code to run the older DooMs.

..reguardless you don't NEED to have to RUN STEAM to edit DooM!! Editors are happier without bloat-ware in the back ground, lean and mean they preffer!
