Game Freezes when I try to access Doom 1 or 2.

First of all when I start up Doom 3 BFG the intro sreecn freezes, but I can still hear the audio, and it will go to the menu where I can slect Doom 1,2, or 3. Second: When I click on eith Doom 1 or 2 the screen freezes but I can still hear the audio. How can I fix this? I tried uninstalling and redownloading, I verified game files, and I tried compatability mode. I just have no idea how to fix this. Thank you for any information
