Troubles starting game. Please help!
I recently purchased Doom 3 BFG edition and I'm having an issue running the game. When I click the play button it brings up the 'preparing to launch game' window and then it doesn't load. All of my drivers are updated, so I'm not sure what it is.

it appears the blue window with the opengl problem? i have that problem

what part of "minimum system requirements" do you not understand?

Sometimes I have same problem. Just only restart the steam and it will be OK. It helped me.

in my case i have a toshiba laptop with nvidia card and i did this http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/items/faq/669 to make the Doom 3 BFG edition works
